Project Features
85 below-market rental homes, community garden, BBQ space, and clubroom. All suites featured in-floor radiant heating powered by Lonsdale energy
Vanguard is proud to have contributed full mechanical services to The Eleanor, an affordable housing project by non-profit developers VRS Communities Society. Located on Central Lonsdale, the building features 85 below-market rental homes, with 12 suites designed specifically for people with disabilities. In addition to city funding, the project was made possible by a $24.1-million low-interest loan provided by BC’s HousingHub program and a $3.1 million grant provided by Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
